SEPPIC launches its new natural emulsifier, SIMULGREEN™ 18-2

For more than 20 years, SEPPIC, a major player in green chemistry, has offered a wide range of innovative, certified products to make environmental consciousness synonymous with efficacy and comfortable use.

A pioneer in green cosmetics with MONTANOV™, its range of natural emulsifier, SEPPIC has introduced a new market-tailored solution with the launch of SIMULGREEN™ 18-21, thus completing the range.

Its manufacturing process is in perfect harmony with green chemistry principles: absence of solvents, preservatives and dangerous products.

Effective from 2% regardless of the pH and with all grades of oils, SIMULGREEN™ 18-2 is a new emulsifying solution that meets current consumer expectations. SIMULGREEN™ 18-2 allows for easy formulation of emulsions that are rich in plant-derived oils, without producing a "soaping effect" (white streaks) when applied, and with no synthetic products such as silicones. With SIMULGREEN™ 18-2, consistent creams with a refined texture are easily produced, even if formulation is done without acrylic type polymers.

With its lamellar phase-promoting function, which acts as a water reservoir, it moisturises the upper layers of the skin for up to 8 hours after application.

Its unique sensory profile combines lightness and lasting softness, and is suitable for both men and women.

"With its original fatty alcohol-based structure obtained from castor beans and grafted onto sugar, SIMULGREEN™ 18-2 is a new oil-in-water emulsifier designed with the environment in mind. This "green" product combines both technical and sensory performance".

Alicia Roso, Emulsifying Product Agents Manager at SEPPIC.
