Emulsifiers and solubilizers

Formulators often face challenges with the bioavailability and solubility of active ingredients. A solubilizer may be necessary to achieve a concentrated, clear, homogenous, and stable solution that can effectively dispense the active ingredient. In forming emulsions, emulsifiers should be selected according to their lipophilic or hydrophilic nature, characterized by their HLB (Hydrophilic Lipophilic Balance) value.

Our foaming agents -- non-ionic or amphoteric surfactants -- are used in antiseptic liquid soap formulations. They have low reactivity and preserve antiseptic properties. They are very well tolerated by the skin and mucous membranes.
