Veterinary vaccine adjuvants
Since 1974, SEPPIC has been combining expertise & service to develop MONTANIDE vaccine adjuvants. These adjuvants are designed to improve the safety, efficacy and stability of vaccines. These ready-to-use adjuvants are widely used in avian, ruminant, swine and fish vaccines. Keeping a very active R&D team and close interaction with both the industry and academia, SEPPIC innovates and provides new concepts and new products as solutions to industry's challenges. SEPPIC also supplies excipients and solutions for the manufacture of animal health products, as well as other nutritional and veterinary active ingredients and organic mineral salts.
SEPPIC offers products that are meant to serve specific needs within a wide range of markets, including: glass decoration for the wine and liquor industries, car care, HI&I, agriculture, oil field, and paper treatment, among others. Its expertise lies within chemical etching, polymers for the creation of stable emulsions, and green surfactants. SEPPIC ingredients are versatile problem-solving chemistries and can be found anywhere from glass etching creams in craft stores used to decorate wine glasses, to tyre-shine emulsions, to green surfactants used for weed or pest control.
Polykon Manufacturing LLC is a joint venture between SEPPIC Inc. and Schülke Inc., both entities of Air Liquide group.
It is building a $60 million plant in Henrico County (VA) to produce SEPPIC and Schülke ingredients. This new plant will employ approximately 50 employees and start its operation in 2018.
The new production facility will manufacture ingredients for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets. It will strengthen the proximity of both SEPPIC and Schülke to American customers and increase their manufacturing capabilities globally.
