Products for the different methods of car wash

These are different car wash methods:

  • Car Wash by Hand: Hand car wash facilities, where the vehicle is washed by either employees or by the customer with sponge.
     
  • Car Wash by High Pressure: Self-service facilities, that are generally coin-operated, where the customer makes the washing, including pressurized "jet washing".
     
  • Tunnel Car Wash or Mechanized Car Wash or in Bay Car Wash: In-bay automatics, which consist of an automatic machine that rolls back and forth over a stationary vehicle - often seen at petrol station and stand-alone wash sites.
     
  • Tunnel Washes: which use a conveyor to move the vehicle through a series of fixed cleaning mechanisms.

In any case car wash facilities, soaps and other cleaning solutions used are designed to loosen and eliminate dirt and grime.

There is more than dirt and rain spots clinging to the car body. Industrial pollutants, acid rains, dead bugs, tree sap and bird dropping can degrade paints or varnishes of cars, trucks or motorcycles.

“Green” Engine Cleaners

SEPPIC products are used to manufacture specific “green” engine cleaners to remove heavy dirt and road grime for all types of engines:

  • The foaming and emulsifying actions help lift and carry away any adhesive dirt,
  • Wetting surfactants help spread into tight areas and are used for deep penetrating,
  • The coupling of SIMULSOL™ SL and SOLAGUM™ helps fast foaming to remove dirt quickly,
  • A simple rinsing action that needs only clean water for obtaining perfect results,
  • Formulations penetrate and remove greases and deposits,
  • Products cling to vertical surfaces and penetrate even the toughest grease and oils.

Bugs and Tar Removers

SEPPIC products are used to formulate safe removers for removal of insects, road tar, bird droppings, overspray and tree sap, and to protect vehicle from etching.

SOLAGUM™ range is used to elaborate non-drip formula for precision spot cleaning. Products combining SOLAGUM™ and SIMULSOL™ ranges also bring a safe use on metals, paints, plastics and glasses.

SIMULSOL™ SL 11 W or SIMULSOL™ NW523 combined with SOLAGUM™ USPI or SOLAGUM™ SH 210 combined with some green solvents and vegetable oils are used to manufacture bug and tar removers that restore color and shine to dull, worn finishes.

Rubber Cleaners (Tyre Dressings)

Tyre manufacturers add a chemical compound called anti-ozonant that protects tyres from cracking and dry rot by continually working its way to the outer surface when you drive a car at speed. As the anti-ozonant in the rubber is exposed to ozone in the air, it turns brown on tyres.

A vital step in tyre care is the regular application of a tyre dressing formulates in association with SOLAGUM™ range like SOLAGUM™ SH210 or SOLAGUM™ USPI, combined with a wetting surfactant SIMULSOL™ SL 11 W and mineral or silicon oils.

Formulations made with SEPPIC products replenish the rubber with natural conditioners without depleting the anti-ozonants in the tyre.

SOLAGUM™ range of Rheology Modifiers solves the problem of “centrifugal sling-off” by leaving a polymer matrix film on surface of rubbers that resists water and does not re-emulsify, thus providing long term protection.

Windshield Cleaners

SIMULSOL™ SL range is used to formulate windshield cleaners with bio sourced raw material. This natural solution keeps windshield clean. This washing solution uses natural cleaning agents that help clean dirt and grime on any windshield:

Leather Care

If leather is to retain its beauty, it must be cared for, cleaned and conditioned. Leather must be carefully cleaned before being conditioned. As leather ages, it loses essential protectors infused into the leather during the manufacturing process. That leaves the leather susceptible to dirt, oils, and UV damage.

To keep leather looking and feeling its best, SIMULSOL™ SL range is used to clean leather damaged by dirt oils. SOLAGUM™ coupled with SIMULSOL™ SL range replace the lost moisture and protection by bringing new temporary protectors.

Vinyl and Plastic Cockpit Cleaners

With age and UV exposures, vinyl and plastics materials can fade and become brittle. Vinyl and plastics surfaces inside of vehicles need regular cleaning and protection to keep them in condition. Low-gloss vinyls and plastic products do not attract dusts. They restore the like-new sheen and texture with a transparent protection coating.

Carpet and Heavy Upholstery Fabric Cleaners

SEPPIC products are used to manufacture professional-grade suction-type soil injector-extractor machines cleaners after drying and foaming cleaners after using upholstery brush sucked by vacuum cleaners.

Suction type deep cleaning makes short work of cleaning both carpeting and heavy upholstery fabrics. Cleaners keeps machine from fouling down due to their low foaming characteristics. In other case it is necessary to spray foaming cleaner, vigorously brush it, keep it deeply penetrate and dry, then remove soils with vacuum cleaner. Usually these formulations include, thickeners, brighteners, enzymes, sanitizers and fresh fragrances.

Aluminium Cleaners
