Seppic Diversity & Inclusion Ambassadors raise awareness of disability among their colleagues
Seppic's aim to become a more inclusive company has led to the strengthening of its Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Mission in January 2021. With the establishment of a national steering committee as well as local relays among Seppic employees, the subject of disability inclusion is being addressed collectively and as closely as possible to the challenges of each site in France.
Thus, a network of local referents identified within the Human Resources teams and employees volunteering to be D&I Ambassadors at the French sites is committed to informing and accompanying employees on disability issues on a daily basis.
Each month, the Ambassadors propose an activity on a specific theme: hearing impairment, cancer, autism spectrum disorders, etc.
In May, the Ambassadors in Paris, Lons and Pontrieux organized a quiz on chronic diseases during several team meetings. On June 21, during the Fête de la Musique, a "blind test" allowed people to discover the disability of well-known artists.
A fun way to learn and to associate success, talent and disability.
