In 2020, Seppic's ambition to become a more inclusive, supportive and responsible company took on new impetus with the launch of its Solidarity Commitment Platform, which brings together, through a web portal, all the solidarity initiatives undertaken by its employees. From now on, each employee can participate in or promote a cause that is close to his or her heart by sharing it and involving all his or her colleagues.
As a sign of Seppic's commitment to CSR, this solidarity can be seen throughout the year at our various sites around the world. In 2021, Seppic supported several initiatives.
Throughout the month of June, 50 Seppic employees on all continents took part in a connected sports challenge for the NGO Action against hunger, placing Seppic 18th out of 127 companies involved! The participants travelled more than 300,000 km and discovered several countries (virtually) to fight against hunger in the world.
And last September, our employees in France supported the association La Cravate Solidaire by collecting clothes for its beneficiaries who are looking for work. This action directly fights against discrimination linked to appearance, facilitates access to the professional world and works towards equal opportunities.
