SEPPIC launches CERAMOSIDES HP: a powerful active ingredient

SEPPIC launched CERAMOSIDES HP at In-Cosmetics in Barcelona. This is a unique complex of plant-based CERAMIDES, identical to those found in the skin, combined with digalactosyl diglycerides¹ and containing high concentrations of omega fatty acids (3, 6, and 9).

100% natural and made up of 77% omega fatty acids (3, 6, and 9), CERAMOSIDES HP have a powerful effect on the skin's pores. In low doses, they visibly improve skin texture.

After 56 days of treatment, 0.5% CERAMOSIDES HP visibly tighten pores, refining the skin's texture (a 73% decrease in roughness compared with the placebo). CERAMOSIDES HP are also potent moisturizers that begin to work immediately (a 50% increase in skin hydration just 1 hour after application) and last all day long (a 20% increase in hydration after 7.5 hours).

CERAMOSIDES HP work to restore the dermis. They promote the synthesis of TIMP1² (+33%), which inhibits the collagenase that is responsible for the decrease in firmness associated with aging. They protect the skin's elasticity (-82% in elastase activity). Finally, they protect against oxidative stress (+39% in antioxidant activity).

Yohanna Sander, Head of Active Anti-Aging Products at SEPPIC, explains:"With CERAMOSIDES HP, SEPPIC is offering a cosmetic that promotes beauty and well-being. This active ingredient meets the needs of consumers who want perfect skin tone. By visibly reducing the appearance of pores, the skin's texture looks more refined, revealing health and vitality."

¹ digalactosyl diglycerides: Amphiphilic molecules with two omega fatty acids and two sugars (galactose). These occur naturally in wheat seeds and have emulsifying properties that increase CERAMIDE solubility and effectiveness in cosmetic formulas.

² TIMP1: A natural inhibitor of collagenase, an enzyme that contributes to the deterioration of the extracellular matrix.
