In-Cosmetics: Esculane wins the Best Ingredient Innovation contest bronze medal

The Award is given to honour the development of a novel active ingredient that combines innovative science and product features in a way that demonstrates substantial benefits to manufacturers and to end-users.

Esculane regulates the seborrheic states and improves the barrier function of the scalp by normalizing its microflora. It is the extraction of two seaweeds that grow in a remarkable natural site – the Brehat Archipelago, known for the purity and quality of its waters.

Compliant with Ecocert and China regulations, Esculane is the result of a careful process that combines evolving science technology, intelligent use of nature and environmental stewardship. Without the side effects of synthetic ingredients (such as an increase in seborrheic activity), Esculane reduces dandruff and improves scalp health.

Without the side effects of synthetic ingredients (such as an increase in seborrheic activity), the in vivo test shows that Esculane reduces dandruff by 30% and decreases pruritus by 20%. 22 volunteers have tested Esculane during 28 days: 82% of them find it reduces itching and 73% find it regulates sebum production. The scalp feels toned, cleaner and healthier, while the beauty of the hair is enhanced.
