The ISAP is a non-profit organization that aims to promote research, preservation of algal genotypes, and the dissemination of knowledge concerning the utilization of algae. Tribute to the past ISAP Congresses, the 7th ISAP is to bring back a place where people working in the field of applied phycology can gather.
The conference, originally planned on 19-24 April 2020 in Makuhari, Chiba, Japan, was finally rescheduled to 14 May to 13 August 2021 in a “virtual format”.
