Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects up to 20% of the adult population in developed countries. Relevant animal models are essentials to improve the discovery and testing of novel treatments. An innovative preclinical model of Atopic dermatitis based on “gut-skin Axis” will be presented.
