2nd meeting Transition Pathway for the Chemical Industry


The second professional meeting “Transition Pathway for the Chemical Industry” will take place at the Maison de la Chimie on 14 June in Paris.

In 2018, a report published by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) presented a framework for the transition of the chemical industry to a more sustainable economy. In December 2023, in France, the Ministry of Industry reaffirmed its support for the Chemistry sector with 3 priority axes for the period 2023-2027: 1) an ecological transition component, 2) a competitiveness and sovereignty component and 3) a skills component.

Organized by the Société Chimique de France, this meeting will aim to exchange on the point of view of the actors of Chemistry in its many fields of research and applications. A synthesis will present some recommendations for priority sectors.
