In cold climates, amplified with the indoor heating systems, the skin is less irrigated which can lead to frostbite, cracking, dull complexion. Cold winds alterate the hydrolipidic film and decreased sebum production which lead to increased skin sensitivity, redness, incomfort and dehydration. The skin undergoes homéostasis variation that  leads to roughness skin, increased wrinkles and fine lines number.

UV lights stimulate melanin production, indeed tanning is a self-defense mechanism of the skin but one can observe pigmentary disorders like hyper pigmentation. They impact kKeratinocytes multiplication can lead to skin roughness. UVA creates free radicals causing premature skin aging. Further oxidative stress disrupts inflammatory responses aggravating dermatological conditions such as atopic dermatitis or psoriasis.

Hot humidity increases sebum production, that can lead to clog pores, causing acne and other skin problems such as irritation and inflammation. It has an impact on microbiome and may increase various disorders such as  atopic dermatitis, acne or psoriasis. Finally, in a hot humidity atmosphere, vasodilation leads to redness, heat rash, dehydration.

In polluted atmosphere, sebum quality is altered which leads to blackheads and imperfections. An oxidation of the sebum induces dull skin. Pollution disturbs microbiome, which lead to more sensibility due to an alter skin barrier or to acne due to trapped bad bacteria inside the pores. Skin can undergo keratin alteration or oxidative stress which induce premature aging.
