The MAKE UP FOR EVER research laboratory organized a formulation competition for 2017-2018 to engineering students or Bachelor's and Master's degrees students from 5 schools and universities specialized in cosmetic formulation. Their challenge: create a make-up formulation around connected beauty.
Each project was evaluated on the following criteria:
- Relevance of the project and the subject of research
- Level of creative and innovative contribution
- Product application results
- Quality of the technical file
- Oral presentation of the project in front of the jury
On July 2, 2018, among the 20 candidates, Claudia Agbemaple won the LUDO'S AWARD category best make-up effect! She also finished second in the 2 BEST AWARD categories, best product category, and the INNOVATION AWARD trainee category.
In our teams, Claudia Agbemaple, an intern at CTSC (Customer Technical Service Center) Europe, participated in this competition. Located in Castres, this CTSC is one of our 4 centers which, at the local level, supports our customers in the development of their products.
Claudia has developed and presented her PERFECT BLEND concept, a customizable foundation! Four GELTRAP™ textures with different colours to mix, to obtain the perfect shade for your complexion.
Thanks to the GELTRAP™ technology patented by Seppic, the gel-in-oil texture of these foundations provides comfort, freshness and long-lasting application. GELTRAP™ is a galenic that differs from oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions. It is an extra-water-rich gel-in-oil emulsion (more than 80%). This environmentally friendly technology is totally in line with Seppic's sustainable development strategy, as it allows cold formulation.
This "active" make-up foundation contains SAKADIKIUM™, concentrated extract of sugars from the rhizomes of Hedychium coronarium that offers many benefits for the skin. It acts as a multi-protector against blue light, UV and pollution.
