At Seppic, we are committed to developing eco-responsible practices to protect our environment and help local communities. Each of the Group's sites is thus encouraged to carry out actions linked to its activities throughout the year.
Seppic Brazil and the NGO UNAS came up with the idea of reusing the material from the In-cosmetics Latin America stand, built from recycled wooden materials, to create a collaborative vegetable garden. Thanks to this initiative, Seppic has helped train young environmental agents to produce organic compost for the gardens of ten children education centers, and thus supply the canteens of these establishments with vegetables and aromatic herbs. The aim of the project is to raise awareness and educate children aged 11 months to 3 years about environmental practices in a fun way. Thanks to this initiative, more than a thousand children and 245 educational center employees will be trained.
Seppic Brazil employees were able to take part in the construction of these gardens as volunteers for a day. The experience was an opportunity to share ideas on sustainable development.
