SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is a concentrated polymer in ready-to-use powder form.
It is pre-neutralized and stable over a pH ranging from 3 to 12.

SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M can be used to obtain a wide variety of textures: sprays, lotions, thick creams... It can be used to formulate gels, cream-gels, O/W emulsions and Geltrap™ W/O emulsions or even foams, patches, etc.
SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M can be used to obtain formulas with a highly appreciated sensory profile. The final products are fresh, smooth and non-sticky. Furthermore, SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M provides the finished product a rheofluidifying profile, making it easy to spread.
SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is compatible with many active ingredients, solvents and fatty phases.

A simple and flexible process
SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is a pre-neutralised powder and therefore does not require a neutralisation step before use.
It is dispersible in aqueous or fatty phases and can be mixed equally well in a hot or cold process.
SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is UV resistant, allowing the use of transparent or clear packaging without compromising the formula’s stability.
A very low % of use
As a concentrated polymer, SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is effective at very low concentrations:
- 0.2% to 3% for its emulsifying and stabilizing action
- 0.3% to 3% for its thickening action
Applications
SEPINEO™ D.E.R.M is a multifunctional polymer that can be used in hygiene products and for clear aqueous or anhydrous gels.
It is designed for medical devices to be applied to the following topical areas: skin and vaginal, anal and oral mucosa.
