Ready-to-use adjuvants for Water-in-Oil-in-Water emulsion vaccines
Water-in-Oil-in-Water (W/O/W) formulations are continuous aqueous phase emulsions inside which droplets of oil contain a secondary aqueous phase (double emulsion).
MONTANIDE™ ISA for W/O/W emulsions - Application
Due to their structure, they can induce a short and long-term protective immune response.
Field trials have shown that such adjuvants can stimulate both humoral and cell mediated immune responses.
SEPPIC W/O/W adjuvants are compatible with inactivated and recombinant antigens.
W/O/W emulsion is well tolerated and very fluid.

Vaccine preparation with MONTANIDE™ ISA W/O/W
Stable W/O/W vaccine emulsions with SEPPIC adjuvants must be prepared in one step process using a low shear rate and controlled temperature at 31°C (+/- 1°C).
The ratio of use of these W/O/W adjuvants is 50% in weight.
