SURVICODE: protecting epidermal stem cells to minimize signs of aging

SEPPIC's cellular biology laboratory has developed culture models and conducted functionality and cell marking to characterize epidermal stem cells subjected to various types of stresses: sun (UV radiation), free-radical production (oxidative stress) and aging expressed as loss of cellular adherence to the basement membrane (anoikis, or apoptosis of stem cells).

Through these specially adapted culture models, it was demonstrated that SURVICODE has the capacity to protect stem cells from the stresses of daily life while also restoring their viability and aptitude to actively divide in order to ensure skin regeneration.

SURVICODE is an alanine biovector and unique anti-aging active ingredient proven clinically effective at formula concentrations as low as 1%. It visibly reduces medium and deep wrinkles as well as fine lines after one and a half months of treatment more effectively than a reference anti-aging lipopeptide. This pure, preservative-free molecule is created through an environmentally friendly, Ecocert-compliant chemical process. A colourless substance, it is easily incorporated into any type of anti-aging product from emulsions to white cream-gels.
