MONTANIDE ISA 720 VG is a vaccine adjuvant composed of metabolizable oil and a surfactant system designed to make a water-in-oil emulsion.
It has been used since 1992 in more than 50 clinical trials related to therapeutic vaccines against various diseases such as cancer and malaria.
MONTANIDE ISA 720 VG has proved to be a very efficient adjuvant, enhancing the specific immune response. It has a very good safety profile. It has been administered to more than 2,000 patients throughout the world.
SEPPIC has gathered all toxicity studies and clinical experience in an Investigator’s brochure. SEPPIC has also filed a DMF in the US, Canada.

SEPPIC ensures a complete GMP process for the manufacture of its adjuvants, from raw materials to QA batch release. Sterile grades are manufactured under aseptic conditions in a pharmaceutical facility.
Montanide ISA 720 VG is a ready-to-use vaccine adjuvant. It should be mixed 70/30 with the antigenic aqueous phase. Emulsions made with Montanide ISA 720 VG are very stable and fluid, and can be manufactured easily using different processes, depending on the quantity of vaccine required.
SEPPIC has developed a simple process using a small connector between 2 syringes to manufacture small volumes of emulsion, ready to inject. This process is ideal as it allows the manufacture of an extemporaneous stable emulsion of reproducible and repeatable quality (data available on request). The quality of the emulsion produced using the SEPPIC process is equivalent to the quality obtained with an homogenizer (reference for SEPPIC ). SEPPIC regularly organizes customer trainings on how to make and control the emulsions.
